NAPA: Rep. Mike Thompson will host a Women Lead Forum on Monday morning alongside House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark and other local leaders, bringing a member of the House Democratic leadership to Napa for a town hall-style event.
The forum is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon at the Redwood Credit Union Community Room, 480 Devlin Rd. in Napa, according to the event calendar. Thompson’s office bills it as a Women Lead Forum; the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce calendar describes the same gathering as a town hall with the congressman, Clark and local leaders.

Attendance requires an advance RSVP. Thompson’s office says capacity restrictions mean attendees must fill out a registration form to ensure they can be accommodated and to receive additional information about the event. Completing the form also signs attendees up for updates from Thompson’s office.

A House leader in the district
Clark serves as House Democratic Whip, a House Democratic leadership post. Thompson keeps a district office in Napa at 2721 Napa Valley Corporate Drive, in addition to offices in Santa Rosa, Woodland and Washington, according to his official House page.
The forum puts a member of the House Democratic leadership in front of valley residents about a month before the November 3 general election. Residents planning to attend should complete the RSVP form on Thompson’s House website before heading to Devlin Road.
