Magnitude 2.4 Earthquake Recorded Southeast of Napa on Tuesday Morning

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the quake at 10:47 a.m. about four miles southeast of the city. No damage was reported.

NAPA: A magnitude 2.4 earthquake was recorded about four miles southeast of Napa on Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck at 10:47 a.m. at a shallow depth, with its epicenter about six kilometers southeast of the city.

The Geological Survey had received no felt reports from the quake as of late morning and issued no alerts. The Citizen public-safety app also flagged the event at 10:52 a.m., citing the USGS seismic network.
